Clunk Report

Well, I have been holding off reporting back about the CLUNK. I had my swaybar busings replaced and greased about 2 months ago and I have to report that the CLUNK is gone. I do notice that it happens more when it is cold and wet like Newf said. I would imagine that when it starts to get cold again in November that the CLUNK will come back so I am moving to Florida.....not really but I think that would do it. Hopefully by the time winter rolls around we will have a solution but I am not holding my breath.

Also, I spoke to one of the marketing coordinators at Mazda about them sponsoring our regional Miata event. I asked him if he knew when all the Mazdaspeed apparel and accessories were going to be release and he had no idea, even after asking the guy down the hall who is in charge of all of that. Typical Mazda resonse.

you wull have it back before winter, The cold doesnt help it, But it does come back in the warm weather too.

I went through the same steps. I would agree that the greased bushings definitely help the clunk but mine is in no way gone, just not as loud. I'm at 2k miles now and I'm going to have them replaced again at 3k when I get my first oil change. Patiently, still waiting a permanant fix...
