Recently purchased a 2008 mazda 3 through the dealer that was traded; less than 10,000 kms on it at time of purchase; have had it for a month and noticed the rear bumper on the right side seam was seperating; took it to the service dept and they looked at it, but, said they can't get it fixed better; when I questioned why the clips would break/let go I was told someone could have bumped it with their knee or something in a parking lot (since no damage to car) and that they only withstand a 5 lb bump and will let go because the car is designed this way as not to have damage to the bumper. Does this sound normal? Could they be defective? Was told the "clips" aren't covered under warranty. Has anyone had any problems with the clips holding on the back bumper?
