Can you be more detailed. Do you hear it outside of the car when you are driving? Does it sound like it could be coming from the front struts? Do you only hear it when you are hitting the breaks? Do you hear it when you slow down when coming to a stop light, then step on the gas to speed back up? Give some more details.

ya its outside and from the struts or the axles maybe, but it does it when i break, stop, turn, and when i hit the gas between shifts.

As far as the axle goes, do a couple of 180's descently slow is speed in a parking lot, that degree of turn will cause an axle to knock if it is going bad (I just went through that myself). If it does not knock, you are ok with the axle. The struts themselves will sound like they are knocking if they are bad, almost like metal on metal. Though you should also hear this on bumps. I suppose the front sway bar could act like the rear, and when the bushings wear out, they are very annoying and start to knock real bad, it almost sounds like something is loose.

I was kind of curious myself how this turned out. I just got my right front bearing replaced about 3 weeks ago, and now I have to do the left. F'ing suck man. However, this time I will be doing it myself, except for having the bearing press fitted.

Mine did that the first couple weeks i had it and it clunked when i turned at slow speeds like a parking lot. I solved my problem by not punching the gas from a stop and turning at the same time. (shrug)
