Clearcoat Scratches and wax

I just got my black p5 on monday and I love it. The one thing I have noticed is that I get sooo many little light scratches in the clearcoat. This may be normal since I have never owned a black car but it is very depressing to find all these little scratches all over the car. What is the best way to get rid of them and also when should i start to wax my car and what wax should i use? Thanks

Dustin

Depending on how deep the swirls and/or scratches are. I would say Meguiars scratch remover followed by Meguiars Gold Class Clear Coat wax works well. Mothers also makes ascratch remover thats decent. I have tried that GS27 crap and had mixed results. Hopefully that helps.

o.k. I am a high end auto painter. I agree the gold class works really well and is easy to get. there is a co. called griots that is also exellent! but pricey! the best thing to use to remove the wax once applied ,is a new thing from 3m its a micropore {not sure if its public name is the same}towel or a turkish towel.it wont scratch or swirl when used right either. remember no matter whos wax dont use a cleaner/wax it has abrassives that WILL scratch.Black is a bear to mantain!if you have any q's I can help with I'll happily try! :D
