Clear sidemarkers??? not celica ones....

i heard from kdawgone and mp5guy that these are actaally better than the celica ones everyone is swapping in. The fit is better and the are about mp5 size

anyone got pics of one on a mp5???

i looked at my freind 98 eclipse and the front sidemarkers are amber so i'm guessing there are aftermarktet clear ones??? Also, the eclipse ones are inside the bumper, not on the outside. You all still sure it works?

Only other ones I have heard about are Eclipse or RX-7.
Eclipse require modifications to fit properly. RX-7 are $$$

i should really wait till somone makes true aftermarket clears but i just hate the stock amber ones =P

If you are talking about the amber sidemarker on the MP3 - you can just replace the amber ones with the 2003 protege5 / protege clear sidemarker, you can get them through any mazda dealer, $60.00 US

3rd gen RX-7 looks like an exact match. I had my P5 sitting next to one and was comparing them and they look like the exact same part. Lemme look around and see if I can find a pic with the RX-7 bumper light.

the sidemarkers do look similar but they aren't clear. Are you talking about aftermarket rx-7 sidemarkers?

I bought a pair of Celica lenses and the curve in the lens is to much.

I've read the RX-7 euro lenses will run $160

Yeah I was talking about aftermarket one for the RX-7. They look exactly the same except the RX-7's are inset and ours aren't.

the 2002 celica lights right? now i am assuming the housing does not just snap into place like it should. what kind of thing do u have to manufacture to make it fit?

Hi all,

If you are willing to work a little: Mits Eclipse 95-99.
MatrixRacing.com: 25$ with 2 amber bulbs.

Originally, they are too thick. You need to saw off about 1/4 inch and glue the top/bottom parts together (this is where you can give the nice curve...)

Those look like exactly what I wanted. has anybody determined if these are a direct replacement for the stock bumper lenses or will I have to do some kind of modification to have them fit properly. I really, really, want clear sidemarkers.

Has anyone installed these? Care to write up a how-to?
