Clear film front protection question

Has anyone tried clear film front protection? You probably have seen this stuff, it looks like a clear plastic Bra and is not supposed to hurt your paint. Obviously for paint color the clear is better since your nose paint will not be hidden from the sun. Here is one I have seen recommended from another board.

I got mine as a dealer added option when the car was purchased. It is the 3M stuff. I have a noticed that it does indeed make a difference. Places where rocks would usually chip right thru the paint, they have only dinged the film... I would recommend it 4 sure!

I have installed this stuff on a few cars.It works, it lessens road damage.
I did a full 9pc kit on a silver wrx, it was pretty much invisible from 4ft. away.and it did save alot of wear on his hood from chips.

Lots of the high dollar car guys use it (vipers vettes porsche ferrari etc etc)

It's pretty much a standard add on to any car like that for lots of people.

I wouldn't hesitate to use it for a second.
