Clear coat peeling?

Hello all. I have a new 2012 MS3, not even 3 weeks old now and after washing/waxing the car earlier, I noticed these spots. Is this the clear coat peeling off?

Looks like a rock chip to me!! The paint on these cars is super thin.

+1. Check out Dr. ColorChip to fix it. I'm not sure where this chip is, but consider a 3M clear bra as well. I have one on the front of my car and halfway up the hood and despite this I still have chips on the upper half of the hood and roof.

Well, I went to the dealer today and the service manager took a look at it. She concluded that they were bumps on the paint caused by tree sap and/or dead bug juice. She used some paint protector and it took the spots right off. Definitely try that first as it may be the same issue.
