cleaning injen filter

So I found plenty of recommendations for how often to clean the filter, but no specific instructions how to clean it. Is it cleaned the same as a K&N filter? Does the injen filter need to be oiled? Ive heard that oiled filters are bad for the MAF sensor, is this true? Is there a cleaning kit recommended for the injen filter, or is the K&N cleaning kit good enough?

k&n is good enough. lightly coat the filter with the oil and you should be fine. i'll pull off my injen to inspect it this weekend. if you don't clean too often and every time you do clean you don't over oil, you should be fine. good luck!

K&N cleaning kit will do you fine. And IIRC it does need to be oiled.
