Clayed, Polished, and Waxed ***More Pictures 9May***

I am guessing that it took me about eight hours to get everything done but that was spread over the week. Clay barring the car takes forever.

I am going to try to take more pictures later this week.

Very clean! Nice job, do you have a garage to keep it in? I always hate leaving a clean car outside:(

Atleast with a nice coat of wax it will be easier to clean next time and only need a light wash.

what products did you use??

I always love getting a good detail in on the car. Lots of work but man it pays off.

dude, i did some clay barring during the weekend too
it was long over due..

there were rust marks on the paint in the top of the car...they're all gone

clay bar is the best!
i just need to find time to do the whole car...my arm was aching after finishing the hood and top....damn cigarrets

what product did you use. where can I get this clay bar stuff from. And off the subject what can I use to clean under the hood.

Honestly I didn't even take it out the box yet. I'm waiting for my lazy husband to install it. I think that is the reason my tranny is leaking. any thoughts?

sorry for the thread jack. Your car looks great and im also not big on Altezzas.

I used meguiars gold class products.

Im not a fan of the altezzas either, they were on there when I bought it and the wife likes them. what ya to do.

I claybarred my P5 this weekend....but with the TurtleWax Ice product...It's a liquid mixture/not as aggresive I'm guessing, but washes away real easy...and then followed with the ICE polish/wax...OMG that stuff is the s***!!! Even waxed/polished the trim and put a coat on the calipers for s**** and giggles...No pasty white stuff anywhere....buy my arm is still jello today.

very clean...

p.s. i like shiny

I likey as well. I hear ya about the black cars though. My black Protege I own right now will be my last black car that I ever own.

I just cant justify the cost of zanio. I would be interesting to see a side by side of zanio and any other type of product to see if I could tell the difference.

Zaino is a little expensive...Min. start up on zaino is around 45.00 dollars..that's for the ZFX,Z2 and Z6 spray. I did a quick comparison on price with the Zaino Ultimate Protection Show Car Kit for $117.00 With similar like products from meguiras..i used mostly NXT gereration line...leather stuff i used gold class and the total 89.67. About 27.33. I like Meguiras....i used to use it. But the Zaino goes a long way and is super easy to take off..hardley any white residue...just my 2 cents
