that Civic Hatch might have a b16swap with bolt-on's!!???
 
both in that case, to me of course this is just IMO 15s are slow...hell even i think 14s is slow...just not as slow as 15s! mwha, i guess when you ride in a 11 and below sec car it changes your mind on what is "fast"

Try a All motor CRX untuned LS/VTEC at 12.7@107mph. Still waiting to fully tune, bore out the throttle body, strip the interior, and run some Dr's!

And a few other things, and when I drive my p5, and my friend drives my civic, I kick the s*** out of him. Just plain b16a2 cams, gears,vsprings,IHE. I havent taken the 5 to any track or anything, and havent dynoed it. Msprotege.com has a lot of info, but there are guys putting down a good 290 AT THE WHEELS in p5's with the same setup. I run low boost all the time, so i am not anywere near that and I awaiting my Haltec unit to do so. Mazda's are great cars, the protege5, mp3 , MSprotege have all the same engines except the MSP is turboed stock, and the Mp3 ecu is different then the p5's. The motors are not the most tunable for NA but when boosted they do alright. So i am guessing it was pretty close, but if the guy can drive his car right he should have beat the civic

Good video, but who the hell won...ehhh who cares who won. Its just cool to see the P5 race.

I thought Accords are faster than civics stock and even with upgrades? I mean you shell out $$$$ more for more power right?

I love civics (was going to get a 4dr 2004 EX) and all because of the great after market they got, but I hate pulling up to a 2dr Civic thats modded and wants to race, but I have to say no because, one I'll be beat, 2nd 4dr wagon vs 2 dr/hatch are in different categories of their own. I'd rather go against a 4dr than a 2dr since its more fair "I guess." I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'll rather pull up to a Volkswagon Golf 4dr/Hatch and try my luck and get my ass whooped.
