Chicago PLAYOFF Baseball Thread

Both of our baseball teams made it to the playoffs. I care not about Boston, LA x 2, Philly, or Tampa Bay. I slightly care about Milwaukee but only because they are close to Illinois and that means possible playoff tickets.

I will list the games the Chicago teams are in here, along with dates and starting times. If both teams go out in the first round, thread done. Starting times are in CT, I give no s*** about ET, MT, or PT. Games in Red might not be played. I'm Starting with the series that don't matter and then the White Sox to showcase my obvious bias.

I have school tonight and will miss an hour of the Sox game tomorrow. I hope I don't miss anything good. I wouldn't mind leaving work with a big lead for the Sox though.

Yeah, it's stupid. I would rather have at least 2/3 games at a normal time and on TNT or something. This 3 games in a row ensures someone gets ****** out of a game. The Rays make the playoffs for the first time in franchise history and it's a 2 ET game, seriously? Stupid MLB.

Vazquez, you are horrible. Oh well, I think everyone knew winning any games in Tampa would be a challenge. I'm ready for game 2.

If the one-game playoff never happened, I would have started Danks for Game 1, Floyd for Game 2, Buehrle for Game 3, and Vazquez for Game 4. Buehrle and Vazquez are really good at home, and I think Danks and Floyd give road games a better shot than Buehrle and Javy. Buehrle is good all around in the postseason, though, so I'm not terribly upset about him starting tomorrow, although he is 11-3 at The Cell this season.
