Chicago Auto Show

Hey all. Just went to the Chicago Auto Show (the finance manager gave me a pair of tix when I bought my car!) and thought I'd post the Mazda pics I took. There's a bunch of the 2003.5 MSP (which was locked down most of the day, but was opened for a little bit), the RX-8, the 6, and what might be a hint at the Mazdaspeed 6.

There's also a bonus shot of a walking hair wall.

All-in-all it was a nice show - not too many people (compared to Detroit), clean, and only $2.50 for a bottle of pop.

That's me in front of the ZOOM-ZOOM wall, and my buddy Ray in the yellow 6.

Albert: How are you? What do you think of them closing my thread? ""Hey! Here's a question!!!"" I call shenanigans!

Great pics man thanks a bunch

Any pics of the Titanium Miata?

ok, I gotta ask

wtf is a walking hair wall?

That Yellow looks close to the same as the yellow 6 there.

The hair wall is the dude on the second page with Whitesnake hair. He was like 50.

Didn't spend too much time with the Miata's - can't fit in one so I don't think about them much. LOL.

The MSP's yellow also had gold flake in it (hard to get on cam), and the 6's yellow is just a deep DEEP dark yellow with no flakes.

Sucks about your thread, AGR#7 ... but how's that MSP treatin' ya?

Albert: No biggie about the thread. I was just making a point about what forum this is.

Ha!! You know, my friend; I love my 'SPEED!! I took a friend out in it yesterday who is also an enthusiast, just in town for a few hours on a FedEX layover. He was quite impressed. We hit some badboy backroads with some nice elevation changes, and switchbacks. It was great! How's yours doing? Finding any areas clear of enough snow to have some fun?

Hell no! WE're getting some of that big storm that's pounding the East Coast ... mine's sitting in the dirveway with snow all over her. :'(

Supposed to get nice later in the week - I'll take her out and about then.

Yeah; I spent most of my youth in Indy, Chicago, and Milwaukee and the snow was 'just fine' then; But now that I'm 'all grown up' (well, sort of...), I can do without it.

Be safe when it begins to clear, and watch for those icy patches. That stuff can be nasty.
