No, sorry, I don't know how --- I searched and searched and came up zip.
I'm hoping that with this 'prod' maybe someone else can post a how-to...plz? (help)
If this is a no-no, mods can delete and spank me. (dark)
------------------
The 7.5k service on the M3s (2.3) shows 3 things:
1) change oil
2) check valve clearance, and
3) lube doors.

1 & 3 are pretty brain-dead...but i've no clue (on this vehicle at least) how to go about #2...

My manual says to check valve clearance at 75,000 miles, not 7,500 miles.

That's affirmative. It also says, "Audible inspect every 120,000km (75,000miles), if noisy, adjust."

You also might want to consider if you fall into the "Schedule 2" category. If any of the following conditions apply to you, then you should use schedule 2:
Repeated short-distance driving
Driving in dusty conditions
Driving with extended use of brakes
Driving in areas where salt or other corrosive materials are being used
Driving on rough or muddy roads
Extended periods of idling or low-speed operation
Driving for long periods in cold temperatures or extremely humid climates

Honestly, I would use Schedule 2 anyway. 7,500 miles between oil changes is just asking for trouble.

No kidding. I always change mine every 6000 Km's (3750 miles) Honda specifies 8000 Km oil changes too, man, that makes for some really dirty looking oil. But lucky for me I have my own hoist and I can just whip my car in to my bay if I have a spare 15 minutes.
