So, I've been up in maryland visiting family and was lucky enough to drive a 65' cobra. My stepdad was at an auction and won the car for the weekend. The owners are very cool people and actually waxed the car before handing is over the keys.
I've been out all day driving this beast around out here in the country. The owner said the original engine crapped out on him and he replaced it with a 1995 mustang cobra 5.0liter V8 engine. As you can see the car is in almost perfect condition and runs great. The car is mostly fiberglass body and weighs maybe 1700 lbs. It has a shitload of torque and sounds to me like he put in some aggresive camshafts because of the lopey idle. It is surprisingly easy to drive too. I've driven all over and let me tell you this thing attracts everybody. Its sounds sick and just looks so badass. Hope you guys enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed driving the car
