Decided to throw a short ram air filter on my car today and the check engine light came on. cant seem to get it off! somebody help please? i know other people have done this and i know the check engine knows nothing since i know what caused it but it just bothers me!

Might be something to do with this little sensor?

Sorry about the dirty engine bay! D:

Well what is the check engine code?

It shouldn't throw a code with the intake air temp sensor just hanging out, as long as its all plugged in.

I don't know the code yet, literally just threw this in. But it wasn't on when I stopped the car and turned it off. Put the intake on and it came on the first startup

that's the temp sensor. it should be somewhere inside the intake. If you still have the stock airbox you might just want to throw that back on instead of the spectre filter, that short ram isnt going to do much

Let it sit over night and adjusted the sensor the the position it was in when the stock was on and the light when away, thanks though!
