Is there a cheapo method to hooking up my ipod touch to the car?
I can't recall when I had the oem radio out if there was a audio in jack.

I am seeking the cheapest method possible, because it makes no sense to purchase an expensive ipod integration setup for a car that I am awaiting the lease to end.

Nah I want something wired like audio in cable if possible.
Not sure if they make fm transmiter that actually works withought interfereance from neighboring stations during your travels or truckers using CB radios out on the highway

Becuase that's the prob I have had in the past with the xm portable

The Harmon Kardon Drive+Play has an available wired FM transmitter. It work significantly better than a wireless one. The LCD screen and ipod like joystick are nice features to have too. It is what I use right now and, to be honest, I don't know if I will get an integrated Mazda iPod unit if/when it becomes available. Plus, you get the original version for under $100.

you don't need to get the H/K to get a wired FM modulator... I beleive circuit city sells one for like $20. That's the route I'm going since I have the tech package
