Found a deal on these wheels. I know they are Honda but tell me what you think. I think they would look pretty good on my speed3?

Mugen Wheel

Here is a pic

Can someone photoshop to a CWP speed3?

hmmmmmm if they can work..then thats screamin deal..mugen wheels are very nice...makes me wish i still had my 07 si......kinda.

dam, thats a great deal, and they come with lugs too
i say go for it, the hub bore may be smaller but u can always have that machine or use a dremel on it

You'd most definitely want to have them machined. Nobody's that precise with a Dremel. lol

Might want to check with a local machine shop & see what they'd charge to increase the bore. Might make them not so much of a great deal, although they do look very sexy and weigh next to nothing, which is sweet.

Honda is 64.1, so Wastegate13 is correct about that. Mazda is 67.1.

In addition to having the wheels machined, you could also have adapter plates made. Again, gotta research cost on that option.

I ran miata wheels on my CRX for a number of years. Actually, three different sets.
The miata wheel was 54.1mm...the CRX was 56.1mm. So I was in the same boat and had to have them machined.
A local machine shop charged $10 - 12 per wheel. For the second and third sets I bumped them up to 56.2mm. The 56.1 was just a little too tight.

That's a great price on those wheels...almost too good to be true. Most Mugen stuff is waaay too expensive. I thought there was only one legit Mugen importer in the US. On top of that, there are a ton of knockoffs out there. Not saying that is the case here, but it certainly pays to be cautious.

I'm pretty sure these are sold as accessory wheels through the Honda dealer. Much the same as the MazdaSpeed wheels are made by RAYS.

do it do it...

16.5lb each is a 30lb overall weight savings, saving unsprung weight is Win.

if the hub bore doesn't fit, bore it out. ;-D

ah the mugen si ones - very nice and very light rims

i was going to say - check out collegehillshonda.com

they have all the cheap honda stuff there - but they discontinued these....
