Hello, 02 Protege LX is coming up on 95K. Just changed the oil (mobil 1 for the past 55K, works great) and going to do the spark plugs. I did a search and saw all the stuff but nothing specific. DO you really need to have wires on standby as well? This is my first time doing the plugs (done on lawnmower, etc). Seems like not a hard job but after reading some of the posts??? I have a long ext and bought the NGK plugs. If anyone has any other advice please let me know as I would like to do this today (going to rain all afternoon).

Oh well, ended up doing them on my own. Just took my time and they came out pretty easy. I can see how you would damage those plungers if you are not careful. Here's the old ones. They have @90K on them
