I'm glad I don't live in Cali. That's ****** up that you will get your s*** towed for illegal mods. I'm gonna be the next copy cat and get those yellow PIAA's. I do remember one MP3 about a year or more ago with the same H3 bulbs.

only thing i wished about the piaa ion h3's is that they shoudl look yellow from far away instead though they are like bright white from afar

u know what? i noticed that tonite. it's raining now and while i was driving my fogs gave off a weird light. prolly bouncing off the raindrops or something. looked pretty funky.

If you just want a bright yellowish tint instead of stock, white, or white with an annoying rainbow, go to JC Whitney for their "all weather" H3's. Inexpensive, last a while, and easy. No, they're not name brand, but they're not white or really expensive either.

I have 3 leftover new, good Hella plain ol' 55W bulbs left over from previous modded VW's, so I'm not changing anytime soon (unless y'all would like one or two, in which case, $6 each, shipped, or two for $12.)

I like the bright yellow fog look, but also like that the white fogs, once aimed, do help out the headlights quite a bit.

So those are the factory p5 foglights with different bulbs?

I dont have any fogs right now, any idea of any fog lights that are the same size/look as the stock p5's that have those lights in them already?

just a thought. keep an eye on your paint below the fogs and right above them. i dont even have aftermarket ones, but evidently mazdas paint isnt the greatest, and occasionally the heat from the fogs bubbles the paint on the bumper. i didnt let it get really bad, but i didnt let it go but two weeks after i noticed. the bubbles cant be seen you have to feel for them or look REALLY close.

im about 99 percent sure it wont happen to you, but i thought id share my experience so you knew to keep an eye out.

That's one of the things that sucks about the 03.5 models. No foglights. :mad:

Anyone with an 03.5 think about installing a set of foglights -- either the Mazda ones that are on the 03 MSPs, or 'aftermarket' ones? I was thinking about getting a pair that I could just bolt onto the underside of the front bumper -- but I'm not sure I'm so hot on the idea of drilling holes in my baby.

But if anyone else has done anything like that, and it's come out good .. let's hear about it!

What kinda fogs are those? the stock? and if so, can us 03.5ers order those fogs to fit our cars?
