Change/coin holder?

Here is one I used to use in my neon with solid mounts and had no rattles.

Get a beer coozy type thing that will fit in your cupholder (neoprene type ones are thinest overall diameter).
Place change in that. The neoprene damps the vibes!

Don't even bother with it. Just get an iPASS transponder. You'll have the half rate and don't have to stop. I've had mine for a month now, saves me 15 minutes avoiding the toll, and save a lot of gas. I can stay on cruise to within 2 miles of the office. That said, I still have a bunch of coins in the armrest.

OK, I've struggled a bit to put a three coin, spring loaded change holder someplace that is easily accessible.

Some locations that are not feasible for me:

1) The "foglight" coin holder
2) The ashtray just chock full of coinage
3) The shift boot (stupid...who does that?)

I had it installed to the outside of the ashstray, but that didn't work. Too much rattling, esp. when the coin holder was loaded up (not counter balanced).

So, has anyone a better location for a coin holder? What is your coin holder of choice?

I have a majik cup. it has pens, razors, lighters, my majik rock (NOT-CRACK), and other various things, and it holds my coins too. works well, coins don't rattle. It does get really gross in there. and the wife has no place to put her coffee, oh well.

And you have razor blades mixed in with your quarters? Is that to deter theives?

Best thing to do is keep your change in rolls and stick them in the glove box or something.......

Yeah, and if you ever get into a scuffle/fist fight. Just grab your roll of coin and put them in you hand. Getting punched by a fist with a roll of coins in it hurts like a sumbitch. (crazy)

when i got my car I started to use the passenger cup holder for my change holder, then it filled up, so I took a paper cup cut that bad boy in half and now it sits inside the armrest with plenty of un-rattling change
may sound kinda ghetto rigged, but! it works

i'm with dex, i throw it in the passenger cup holder, stupid ionic breeze blocks it anyway.
it's good for emergencies, well snack emergencies, i pay for everything electronically but vending machines don't take cards.

i can't wait for ez pass for the tolls, i bet asses will still stop and hold up traffic.

Such a hot topic. Well, I just basically took the change holder I had mounted to the ashtray and just threw it into the "pocket" just below the foglamps switch...solved

lol what I did was, I went to Wal-mart went into the Women's clothing/purse section..then looked at the change holders...got a little silver one for like $1-2 ...took it to my car put all my quarters in it and placed the little bag into that open slot thing next to the fog light button...not sure what goes there..its that big hole right above the hood release latch /shrug but it holds my change purse lol!...I dont really care if people laugh when I pull that thing out to give my car a quick wash...atleast I know where the hell all my quarters are..and I can put my drink into the cup holder without it being all sideways n s***..

Are you being serious here or saying that I haven't driven them? Any how, I've made the trip from Winnipeg to Chicago 3 or 4 times now (I 29?) and the highways you guys have are 10 times better than ours! If you think they are bad then you have to come up and experience ours.
