Mine are APC. No huge red reflector on the side of them either. They were on the car when I bought it.

their is a small crack in the right tail light, it is very hard to notice and does not fog the tail light from water (only in the red reflector area)

where do u buy the carbon fiber tail lights for the msp or protege? i think they are APC but im not sure, the car came with them on there already and i think they look good on the titanium but one is turning like a foggy yellow color for some reason, the plastic part...i was thinking i could take it apart and clean it somehow or sand it down and clear it, but id still like to know where to buy them if i need to, thanks

if your carful you can take really high grit sand paper ours is black and wet sand them... then take a buffer and buff them you will have to use like 3 different compounds, start high and work down you need to make sure you have the materials.... YOU CAN RUIN YOUR LIGHTS REALLY FAST SO BECAREFUL we do this up at the car lot the hays will come back after awile but it will stay gone for lets say.... 7-10 months.

Any one have a set of these on their car?

I'm not a big fan of CF Euro's or 'rice' in general, but the one cosmetic issue I have with the MSP is the tail lights. These are similar to the stock ones, but a little more flashy. I would like to actually see them on the car though.

Here are more detailed instructions on the process:

Ingredients:
1 sheet of 1000 grit wet sanding paper
1 sheet of 500 grit wet sanding paper
Meguiar's Plastic polish (or similar)
small bottle of water (a spray bottle works best)

Directions:

Step1. Remove the headlight/tailight and clean off any debris or grease.

Step2. Sand with 500 grit paper for 5 to 10 minutes rinsing the area every 30 seconds or so until all surfaces have a thick milky white appearance.

Step 3. Sand with 1000 grit paper for 5 to 10 minutes rinsing the area every 30 seconds. The plastic will still look milky but will begin to feel very smooth.

Step 4. Clean area again and use a paper towel to apply the polish. Keep polishing until all plastic areas are evenly clear. The longer you do this the better the result.

This should remove any yellowing and make them like new :)

Anyone consider getting the fog over lays made by blue batmobile? My buddy is running the smoked tails, and I am going to order some from him this week. They look great, and I believe that we are only about 12 bucks shipped.
