CF DG grill!

Uhhhh sell it and get a FG one. If I had the cash I would take it off your hands right now to match my hood damnit. It just plain sucks to paint over CF because the CF grill was created to be CF... for the look... not painted over. It's your grill though bro... all of that being said, I'm sure you will still friggin paint it... I do agree that you can't keep it on there as the only CF mod. It doens't look right... it doesn't look bad but a FG painted to match would be sweet. Look at the pics from NOPI that I posted. Pirana brought his painted grill with him and put it on for the show. I tried it on my car but it didn't match my color so I couldn't take it off his hands. I would love to have a CF grill... maybe one day. :D

Ya know... Maryland ain't that far away... don't make me come up there and kick you sqaure in the ding-ding... hehe.

well, thats what i did but there was a slight mix up so i went with the cf to see how i like it....at this point, ill most likely end up painting it to match.

Well... if there was a mixup, I would do this. Trade your CF grill to someone who maybe already has one painted blazing yellow... or trade it to someone who has a mint condition grill of any color (you're going to paint it any ways right). This way someone gets cf that wants it, and you'll in the end get what you want. Since the CF is obviously more expensive, have them pick up all the shipping costs to even it out some. Good idea or no?

He already has that in the works with Y0sky. He is local here with us and Y0sky has a CF grill that the clear is not so great on so they are going to trade and Jeff will paint it. Y0sky gets a new CF grill out of the deal... (bicker)(gun)

I would personally leave it if you where going to get a CF hood. But otherwise getting that painted correctly could cost a couple hundred. Do what makes you happy.

He already posted he isn't going CF hood... he has new paint on his hood from his wreck and a RockBlocker kit... trading with Y0sky is his best option at this point. Benefits both of them.

Hmm hard to say man. The stress from the radiator shroud is starting to put too much pressure on my fg grill and it is starting to get stress marks in the paint...

GL!

I like it unpainted.

ps: You are waaaaay too easily influenced by other people. If YOU like it, who cares what other people think? jmo.

Keep it on, seriously.

Sure, CF may be over rated since EVERYONE has ferkin CF but you can easily use it in moderation.

Like Rob and I said ( to you in IM ) it makes for a great contrast. If you paint it--oh man. Just don't paint it.
