If you mean the cupholders then you can just put your fingers in the cups and lift. This can be made easier by removing the piece by the e-brake. If you are talking about the center piece around the shifter it is a little more complicated. You have to take the shift knob off and that piece as a single unit. First unsrew the 2 screws on the shift knob, then lift it up, lift the piece that surrounds the shifter, you will see that it is attached with wirees, disconnect them and take the 2 pieces off together.

If it's something else be more specific.

pretty much, I think the wires are plugged in somewhere that's a little difficult to get at, but if you're going through all this trouble nothing wrong with getting your hands in there.

i took apart everything but the piece around the automatic shifter... the overdrive button is kinda in the way. but everything else was so easy i couldnt believe it.

i took it apart driving home from work... it just kinda poped off.

keep your eyes on the road!!!

but i was.... it was just that easy to take off. kinda funny though.... i was holding on to it trying to take it off and when i hit this bump it just came off.

you have to take the piece around the shifter with the PRND21 and the shift knob off at the same time. Just unplug the wires first. Follow them until you find the connector and disconnect them, should take you a few minutes.
