Center Cap Dilemma

Well, some punks went and stole two of my Rota Center Caps. I have taken the other two off, but don't like the way the wheels look... see below:

Besides buying new center caps (to be stolen again???) does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking of just painting the areas black, but wasn't sure what that would do to the front bolt in there.
