Cent. FLA guys...How much did you pay?

I'm looking to buy a MSP this week. I was wondering what you guys have paid for yours...

I'm going to use Cory Fairbanks most likely. They have quoted me just under $17K with rebates...

Thanks!

Right around $20k about 2 days after the 03.5 was released here. According to Mazda, it was the first 03.5 sold in Central Florida.

P.S. Got mine at Fairbanks.

$18,900 out the door (cash) at Delray Beach

Be careful of Cory Fairbanks...some of the salesmen there are complete assholes.

the price of the car was 19,500... after I added all the other BS, warranty, etc, tax, title, reg... i managed to finance the disgustingly high price of $24,500... I only put $500 down, and have the joy of a $407/month payment for the next 6 years!!

They call themselved "Courtesy" Mazda... HAH! They didnt even give me the courtesy of lube when they ***** me!

Go somewhere else other then Fairbanks

I bought a car from them last week and they do not want to negotiate. The sticker price is 21,000 and then they say they have to add 2000 to that price for market adjustment and then take your money from your 2,000 dollar rebate. If I didn't have problems with financing I would have never gotten them to lower the price. I had to walk out and stand in the parking lot waiting for them to supposidly bring me back my trade in they said they had in the back of the dealership. About 30 minutes later I never saw my trade in just their ugly faces coming back and forth trying to lower my payments. Finally they came back with something acceptable and I think the total price was 19,000 or 19,500. I love the car but go somewhere else at all cost.

Dude, WTF???

Hell, I put in one request for a quote online and got a price of $16,947....

I plan on getting it cheaper, too...I go through Felicia Moye and she is good. I went through her last time and everything was smooth and it was the price I wanted.

Basically, if you tell them one place will do a certain price, they will match it at the least....As long as you know what you want to pay, tell them that price and if they don't take it say **** off, you'll go somewhere else...

I don't think they'll try to **** with me. They already know that I have purchased from them in the past and that I could do so again in the future....If they try to **** with me, I'm telling them to **** off and they know that they are losing a serious buyer (which is all they care about)...

I should pick up an MSP or ES this Sunday...I'll tell you what price I get.

Enjoy your ride! Which one did you get?

Hey man if you can get a Speed for that price more power to ya. I am just bitter because they lied to me. I won't ever go back to them for another vehicle and as you can see from the other posts they screwed other people over. I purchased the only blue speed they had left. From what I saw earlier this week all they have left is the yellow ones and the titanium speeds. Don't go getting anything other then the speed if you like performance and looks. Keep us posted on how much you get your car for and maybe us Orlando Speed owners can hook up. Take it easy

The review I would give to Fairbanks is "tough but fair". Sure they tried to work me, but they came down. They have been pretty since then as well. PM me if you want me to contact my salesman and put in a good word for you.

They only had a few on the lot?

Crap. Their website says they have like 10 or so on the lot. I guess they don't update that though...

I'm working on price right now so I'll keep you posted!!

If you get a quote online make them stick to it. Ask them to talk the the BDC manager or whoever it said to on the site. Or check with Classic and ask for Levert... I think that they only have Silver and blue...

Drove by classic on Semeron and saw 2 yellow 2003.5. After alot of BS I got mine for $17,600 with rebates and they threw in an extra $500 on my trade-in. So I would expect it to be around 17K-19K with Mazda's "Test the Best" deal. Sounds like you got a good deal...I would take it if they quoted you under $17K. Levert is a great guy at classic I think a few of us bought cars from him! Hes the internet sales manager.

Hey LzrBlu2003MSP, nice to see you on here & CONGRATS on getting the Speed. If you & any other new members could please add your info to this list, I'd appreciate it.

Here in Orlando we try to get to know everyone & the best way to do that is by coming out to the meets & stuff that we do. If we have at least some of your info, it makes it easier to contact you and/or know if you're the person in the MSP we just saw on the street. :D

My suggestion for buying an MSP is to do exactly what I did. You call up and/or visit all of the dealerships around & get a quote from all of them. I went to:

Tampa (near USF)
Cory Fairbanks
Classic Mazda East
Classic Mazda (the one downtown I think)
Delray Mazda
Gunther Mazda (Ft. Lauderdale)

The lowest price anyone gave me was $19k cash out the door. Obviously your buying situation will probably be different, but the point is you get a # from as many dealers as you can. This is where the asses at Cory Fairbanks come in (they NEVER gave me a number in the multiple visits & phone calls I had). Anyway, once you find the lowest # (Tampa told me 19.5 & then Classic told me 19...nevermind that it was a lie), then you go back to the dealerships & say so & so said they will do it for this much & I am going to buy my MSP wherever I can get the lowest price (simple as that). You need to make absolutely certain that they are telling you the truth about their quote & I'd suggest you get it in writing because you might find out later that it was BS (what happened to me at Classic). So here is the list again & what ended up happening:

Tampa - 19.5
Cory Fairbanks - no #, but they said whenever you're ready to buy, come to us & we'll give you the best price (screw that)
Classic Mazda East - 19, but when we tried to confirm with sales manager, he said I don't know why they told you that, we can't do that
Classic Mazda (downtown) - couldn't even match 19.5
Delray Mazda - offered 19 + free tint...we got 18.9 & I got the tint done on my own
Gunther Mazda - didn't work out, don't know the details

The best suggestion is don't let them intimidate you or pressure you into anything. Make sure they understand that you are serious about getting the lowest price, no matter what it takes. I can't say this enough, make sure you get them to commit in writing so that there is no BS.

That is exactly what I did last year when I got my ES from them. I talked to Felicia via email for a few months. I got this quote and that quote, and Cory Fairbanks beat everyone...

As a matter of fact, I live in Gainesville and that is where my car was. BUT, Gainesville Mazda wouldn't match Cory Fairbanks price so I got it from Cory Fairbanks. They had to send someone up to get the car and I had to drive down to pick it up. Kind of a hassle but it was cheaper...

I've already been down this road so I know what to expect. It is just a matter if the price will be low enough for me to get the MSP....

I went to Corey fairbanks... $20,500-2,000 (rebate)- 2,200(telling them off)=$16300

Put down $3,000which paid for tax, tag and title. Slam it down...

Going to bithlo tonight...

Sweet deal...they recently priced the 2003.5 MSP at $20,500 MSRP. When i bought mine about 2 months ago it was $21,500 MSRP...so you kinda got an extra $1,000 off. That deal was pretty sweet...wish I got mine for $16,300.

Did they have many left? I'm still entertaining the idea of trading in the 5 for an MSP. I would wait until they have one left and then underbid like s***.
