Just picked my MSP up on Saturday the 20th. Got Classic Mazda on OBT down to $19,200 - $2500 rebate = $16,700. I've been shopping for a new car for about 6 months and while they tried to BS me a bit they were less annoying than most dealerships.
When I started playing a bit of the hardball with them they brought out the sales manager. Most places the sales man goes back and forth with sales manager making you wait 10 minutes or so between each offering. Here I worked the deal directly with him. I only had to call BS on him once when he mentioned invoice being somewhere in the mid 19's. After I called him on that the rest was pretty straight forward and I believe fair for the both of us.
I ended up putting rolling up about 4k in negative equity on my old car and financing $22,500. Payment is $364.00/mo for 72months at 4.9%.
