CDA-9815 is out !!!

Thanks to some help I get in this forum I'm going to buy the CDA-9815 headunit from Alpine that is finally out.

But I came here first to double check if you guys still think that CDA-9815 is the way to go?

It's out????? who told you? I thought they weren't supposed to come out until late April. If it's true then it's great news man, I've had my install on hold for about 4 months waiting for that HU.

It will be hitting Tweeter stores shorty.
I just found out that our warehouse is getting them on the 12th and they should be in to us within a week after that.
It wasn't schedualed for another month but since I want it I'll take it early.

One of the best features I found is that is "MM Driver (Hard Disc Drive) Ready" this means that Alpine will release later on a 25 GB Hard Drive that can be connected to the CDA-9815, So I won't have to use CD's for my mp3's anymore

Very true. Alot of companies have hard drive systems now.
One of my fellow installers already has the alpine hard drive on order. He did alot more research into then me and he is very impressed.

1st MP3 in NH do you have a product number for that hard drive?
oh a place to look at it?
they don't have it on the Alpine website

Also the unit is a full din in size so we can put it right under our head units, no problem.

Two things:
1-How much will this HD cost?
2- The CDA-9815 comes with i-personalize right? cuz some dude at another forum said it didn't and I was like: "WTF!?!".

I don't know how much the HD cost, and I know that the cda-9815 comes with i-personalize for sure, alpine hasen't update the i-personalize list on their web site yet because is not listed yet once you log in in i-personalize.

1st MP3 in NH I found it is on "press realses" under "support" button, but is only 16 GB , I need a least 20 GB for my mp3's and 25 will be even better because I know I will be getting new songs on the future
