CCR Auto-X++Feb 8, 2004

all right everyone...this is the first one. It is not in the SCR region...it is in the Central Carolina Region. i have not competed in any events in the CCR...just the SCR...so im not sure how these events run. they seem pretty much the same, and some drivers from the SCR compete in the CCR as well. anyway...here is the info.


Autocross #1
02/08/04 - Knights Stadium - Ft. Mill, SC

Date: 02/08/04

Registration: 8:00-9:30am

Tech: 8:30-10:00am

Drivers Meeting: 10:30

First Car Off: 11:00

Directions: COMING FROM CHARLOTTE N.C. (so just adjust if coming from South)
Take I-77 South to exit 88. Take left off of exit. Take first right after Texaco station onto Deerfield Drive. Follow Deerfield Drive and stadium will be on left.

Cost:

$25 Non-Members

$20 CCR, SCCA, or NCAC club members

(Membership cards required for discount)

$10 additional late fee from 9:30-10:00

I might drive down to observe, but I don't have the money to put Azenis on my Auto-X rims yet. That is also the day after my birthday, so I'm not sure if my family has anything planned.

well...it would still be cool if you would stop by. maybe you will get a lot of cash for your birthday and it will speed up that process of getting some tread on those rims.

I went by on lunch at work, this was pretty crowded. I saw your VW there. Runs looked good. Saw to p5s one stock , and one with a few thigns on it.

yeah...it was a lot of fun. this was the second largest event i have been at. there were a total of around 150 entrants. i thought i saw a nice MSP rolling around...guess that was you. this was only my fourth Auto-X...so i still have a lot to learn...but you can't beat it.

Awww. I wanted to go, but hubby had to work and our other car is in the shop, so I was "stranded" at home! Soon though... very soon... you will see me out there...!
