Has anyone installed a catch can on there p5? If so do you have a how to thread with pics? I have search the forum and everything but how to install a catch can comes up.

it goes in between the line on the valve cover to the intake tube.then you got to find a place to install the catch can

Is there 2 lines or 1? Do you guys have one in your car?

One line comes from the valve cover then theres a "T" fitting so there 2 lines going into the intake manifold. I used an air compressor filter as a catch can that I picked up from lowes

What's the point of installing one of these? To not get the intake manifold oily?

Yes. Sometimes oil with blow by the pcv then get sucked into the intake manifold and you don't want oil in there gunking it up. As you can see, my catch can has a little bit of oil in it

Its good to have cause it keeps your engine clean for one and it helps keep water and other crap from cycleing around in your motor. My buddy has one on his speed 3 and you should see the crap thats in his can when he emptys it out its crazy wat it stops from goin back in your engine.(omg)

N/A motors don't get nearly as much oil blow by through the PCV as a boosted car would, unless you love the rev limiter. I put one on my Bullitt the other day.

Here's a pic of mine...the chrome deally under the blue prefilter. It runs from pcv to catch can then back to the manifold.

where at on the manifold does it plug in to?
Plugs into the same place the hose off the pcv used to go to. It just elongates the same path from the pcv to the intake manifold with the catch can in the middle. You can also put a catch between the end of the valve cover and the port on the air intake before the throttle body.
