Catalytic converters?

probably not

+1 ... you wont pass emissions in any state that requires them if you go cat-less...but if you are friends with a mechanic that does inspections you will pass catless!

it all comes down to what, if any kind, of testing your state does. visual inspections will certainly fail you. sniffer tests likely will fail you. plug in tests can be fooled with minimum effort.

I'm here in Ohio and from I understand of the Indiana laws. You will not pass the test.

if your state has an obdII scan than all you have to do is get a spark plug fouler for the o2 sensor. Ive had no problems here in pa. Well even thought i inspect my own car- perks of being a mechanic

buy my gutted cats nd save the hastle then you can just throw in ur full ones for inspectioneasyer just pop in a non fowler to get rid of the cel... if you want i can make you one aso soo all you have to do is bolt up.

You guys have it easy, they put cars on a smog dyno with the OBD connector plugged in, bring the car up to speed and put a load on it at varying speeds. Now that will put some stress on the barely legal MSP. Luckilly I know a lot of people that do smog..luckilly.

over here they dont test NOTHING... as in zero.. you get your plate..you pay, and you go...

the cats will be off soon :)

with the fouler plug of course.

Lucky... But if you are then why still stock? Those cats restrict a LOT of power.

first reason is mounts... dont want any trouble with exaust flexion too much.

then the cats will be off..

See I would clear the cats out, but Im moving to indiana for 2yrs. I live in michigan now and we have no emmisions! Does anyone know about any good high performance cats?

Where are you moving to in Indiana? By the way, I think there's only a few counties (maybe 2?) that actually do emmisions. I've never had to deal with before, good thing too because my last car was a 240 with an SR swap and a 3" straight catless exhaust.

On that note, who knows how to trick my secondary o2 sensor?
