Cat back system

I found this cat back system:

Its cheap and I planned to get a magnaflow one, does anyone know how this one could compare to the magnaflow and would it be better for mye to just fork out the money for the magnaflow?

More $= better performance?

It almost looks like its just an axle-back system and not a cat-back system. You'd usually get more power out of a cat-back system, because of the larger piping than stock (and weight savings)

"This system is 50-state emissions legal. Fits ALL 2004-2008 Mazda6....EXCEPT the MazdaSpeed version."

I believe element has a regular 6, not the MS6. With that said, I would suggest going with the cat-back and not an axle back, as there is more gains to be had with a CBE. Especially since that setup is $370 for only an axleback, spend about $100 more for a CBE.

hey, check out performancepeddler.com for your magnaflow cbe. search for your application and when you hover over the "add to cart" button you will get a pop up asking for your email and to make an offer. give them your email and type in any offer amount and they will send you their bottom of the line price. i just ordered from them a couple weeks ago and got my ms3 system for $370 shipped (msrp is like $685 or something). exhaust arrived like 3 days later in original manufacturer packaging, absolutely awesome.

performance with a cbe is gonna be pretty much equal across the board but money usually = quality. maggy is known for holding up to the weather and lasting a long time, good quality products.

Okay, here I go again (some of you know what I mean). Go to www.cvrmotorsports.com. They have the best price on Magnaflow catbacks I have seen anywhere. I just checked, they do have them available for '03-'08 Mazda6, both i and S models. You will have to send them a request for the price, they will get back to you with an e-mail linking you to the price. For reference, I got mine for my Speed6 for $415 shipped.
