Cat-back or TMIC

I'm trying to decide which to do next since both are around the same price. I've read on a few TMIC threads and it sounds like a decent mod. Anyone think it would be stupid to get the TMIC before a cat-back?
 
Please correct me if im wrong. Doesn't a catless TBE cause turbo seals to go bad? Im kinda asking if that is the case. I want a DP and RP but i dont want the smoke.
Also Whats the best DP and RP to go with.
Corksport or CPE?

It is said that the turbo may actually be bad but the cats just hide thte smoke. I really have no plans to get a DP until this is resolved. At least that way if something does happen they cant' say it's because I installed a pipe. A downpipe is out of the question for the time being.
 
I'd go top mount and just do what alot of the other MS3's are doing with the resonator delete and gutted cat. The ETS is supposed to show 20+ HP.
 
I would go with a TMIC before a catback. The TMIC shows power gains as opposed to a catback. Again, this is just what I would do..
 
tmic before catback -- on this car, w/o a full tbe the catback is really just noise. Not having (as much) heatsoak will make it more than worth the $$
 
Awsome guys you've convinced me! Sounds like it's TMIC in about a month. MSLou I just did get rid of my secondary cat and love the sound and improvment. Thanks everyone!
