Cat back Exhaust... Who's interested?

Do you happen to remember which magnaflow muffler it is? Size?

I'm not sure which one it is. I let the muffler shop go at it and choose the correct one for my wants and needs. I can certainly go out and take measurements if you wish.

Just trying to see if its a 3" in and out or 2.5". Also the length if you could. Thank you

Sorry it took this long it was raining all weekend long and I was busy Monday and Tuesday. Anyway, after getting under there and taking measurements I went into Magnaflow's website and the universal muffler I have is #14215 because mine is polished but you can also go with #12215 which is unpolished stainless steel. Here is the link...

you can do either. Davicho did one muffler, he replaced the resonator with the muffler and the the stock mufflers with straight pipes. You can leave the resonator or remove it and replace the stock exhaust with two of these mufflers, the sound will be different.

Not sure i like the muffler delete but i do like the sound and the use of stock tips. Would like to see it with dual muffler. unsure If removing the resonator in that set-up would improve gains

I dropped some Ebay N1 knockoffs with *oval* tips that look surprisingly similar to the stock tips. A little throatier sound outside, but there is a noticeable increase in cabin noise. It's Mrs. Wickenstein's vehicle used mostly for taxiing the childrens and such to/from school, but I can say that with a standard flat K&N filter using the original stock airbox and the hi-flow mufflers, I have seen a slight increase of 2-3 MPG and MAYBE a little lighter feel to the peddle (seems a little easier breathing.) I'd love to hear other efficiency/HP/MPG improvements. We really like our *new* '10 CX9! Had it for about 6 months.

Does the right muffler has a big dent on it? Coz mine has it too and I dont know if the previous owner hit something but there is no sign of scratches just a big dent.

Yeah, it looked like the previous owner backed into something. The passenger side stock muffler was dented and the entire tip and housing was pushed in about 6". I wanted to replace the whole thing, since it would cost the same to have it re-welded, re-routed, etc. I think I paid $35 ea muffler and the install at a local OC shop was $100 with parts.

Can you post pics of the mufflers and a sound clip/video if possible.
