The only two 0w-20 oils in my area are mobile one advance fuel economy that's gears toward most Hondas and Toyotas. And said a to be used with cars requiring 5w-20/30.

Then Catsrol Magnatec. Never ran Castrol oil in my cars but wanted to make sure it's ok to use. Thanks in advance

No one here would actually know. There is nothing wrong with using M1 0W-20. It is NOT geared toward a particular make, it is designed to meet API specs for 0W-20. If the Castrol also meets those API specs, run it.

Not a option currently.
Or you can go to your Mazda dealer getting this Mazda super moly oil which could last 12 months or 10,000 miles for oil change! Save your money in the long run! ;)

Are you sure you couldn't find Castrol Edge 0W-20 oil? It should be available everywhere! Castrol is a very popular oil worldwide and recommended by Mazda! Use with no fears as long as it's SAE 0W-20 GF-5 oil.

Castrol Magnatec is usually only available outside of the US market, and it's positioned as cheaper level of oil than Castrol Edge. Some of Castrol Magnatec oils even come with synthetic blend. So make sure you're getting full synthetic 0W-20 GF-5 oil.

Where did you get that information? On BITOG "The Magnatec brand was first launched in 1996 as.... Castrol GTX Magnatec. This was in the UK, from where it spread globally. A few years later the "GTX" element was dropped and it became Castrol Magnatec.

The US are currently at the beginning of the Magnatec journey."

Castrol Magnatec

Just called Advance near work 2 towns over from my home and they have Pennzoil Platinum and Castorl Edge
"GTX" is the cheaper conventional oil from Castrol. From what I've seen from other regions, Magnatec normally is a little cheaper than Edge, some of them are synthetic blend. But as long as the Magnatec oil you found is 0W-20 GF-5 full synthetic, you should be fine unless you're willing to get the Edge two towns away.

Or you can always order the oil you preferred online.
