I am interested in upgrading my 2015 head unit w/aftermarket Pioneer system (Grand Touring w/Bose). I'm interested in this, because I want to use Apple Carplay in the vehicle.
I was wanting to put a Maestro RR kit in, to allow for viewing coolant temps. However, after researching, I found out that the Maestro RR is NOT compatible with the Bose sound system, so out the window there. I plan on using a Pac RP4-MZ11.
Here are my questions:
Will the Pac RP4-MZ11 still enable my warning chirp for lane avoidance?
Those with Carplay, can I use a Bluetooth OBDII system and view the app on the head unit, or should I look into getting something like a ScanGauge? Mainly interested in viewing coolant temp.
