Cargo Mat or Tray in a Speed3?

Has anyone tried to put the regular Mazda 3 Cargo Mat or Cargo Tray into a Mazdaspeed 3?

If so any pictures of the fit?

Talked with the dealer and they say that it doesn't fit because the Speed3 - it is a little narrower in the rear. Non of the dealers in the area have them in stock to test out.

Looking for options - would like to protect the rear.

The regular one fits just fine in the speed. I have a regular 3 cargo tray and it works well in my speed.

wow. the end is narrow. Maybe that guy missed a day of class when they went through the cargo net installs.

Hey I still have my cargo net too. How did you attach it? They took the top clips (and bottom) out of the speed 3 - so where did you attach the cargo net ? Thanks in advance for your help!

Cargo Mat and Cargo Tray in a Speed 3

I received my Mazda 3 Cargo Mat and Cargo Tray today - man was it a pain to install - I had to remove the Cargo Net. Once I got that out it was simple and they both fit like they were ment for the Speed 3. I reinstalled the Cargo Net so they won't come loose and fly away when going over 100.

I can recommend either or both for anyone with a Speed 3.

Difference between Speed 3 and Mazda 3

And for those of you that want to know - the only difference I can see between the two cars is that the Speed 3 has a little bump on each of the side panels that the Mazda 3 does not. It is hard to see but Bakrauf's picture does show it - up near the back of the rear seats.
