Car suggestions

Out of your list, if it were me, I'd choose the 2001 Trans Am. prefferably with the WS6 package. Not a fan of the other 3 you listed.

sorry cable im really in a lot of pain right now i didnt mean to snap at you.

so far im most interested in (in order):

WRX
SRT4
Miata (but having a hard time finding manual, decent milage)
(possibly Trans Am)

i think ive ruled out the mustang because i dont want another headache car and the only style i really like are 88-93 unless older cobra model (like 94 o something), and most have been beat and/or have 100k+ miles.

i like the wrx the most but there arent TOO many around in my range...i like the miata but state dht eproblems above, and the srt as well but only one or two maybe near me within my range.

transam is just a car i like, and since american cars are s*** for resale, makes a few possiblty available...

out of ur list, trans am then miata then wrx i will never own a dodge.. but thats my opinion

yea hving a hard time with trans am selection....im looking on dodges website and with 4k down it looks like if they would finance me, i could stay in my payment amont range

Audi A4 1.8T Quattro
Honda Prelude, Accord I4 or V6, Civic Si, CRV
BMW 325 - I would say anything between 1995 - 1999
Acura Integra between 1995-2000 any models
Subaru WRX or a 2.5RS
Saab 9-3 coupes or sedans (na or turbo)
Infiinti g20 (na or turbo)
Toyota Matrix XRS or Corolla S
Nissan 240sx (1993-?)
Pontiac Grand Prix GTP or Grand Am GT or G6
Mitsubishi Lancer RalliArt Edition
Dodge SRT4, Avenger, Neon ARC or R/T
Ford Focus SVT 4 or 2 door

Hope this helps.

well obviously i like the wrx/srt4...and the 325s are too expensive unless i buy something with a bazillion miles and 10 years old. other than that i dont like any of those, especially s*** like the ralliat lancer.

svt is ok but needs to be modded to be worth a s*** and im not doing that s*** anymore.

so far i think as soon as i get the car put back to gether im going to (in order, until one of the options works out):

1) look into the used wrxs available near me
2) go to a dodge dealerhsip and see about a new srt4
3) look into 2002ish mustang gt coupes/convt

agreed, my buddy just bought his 2002 wrx sti for 17k tax title license and other bs with 45k on it... the car is imaculant... except for a scratch onthe driverside door..

damn he got lucky. i cant imagine finding one of those for that cheap. i havent come accross that all day...and it seems all ive been doing all day is lokoing for cars.

yeah he got REAL lucky.. i think there is only 2 or 3 subarus in my city, we dont have a suby dealer so u have to drive 50+ miles to get them.. he foudn it on a honda used lot..

im leaning more and more towards thes mustang because they are so easy to find in my price range...like im seeing black 2002 mustang less than 60k miles, convertable or coupe less than 16k

people can say what they want but the mustang sounds real nice, and parts are a dime a dozen if oy have problems or whatever.

damn i also like the little miatas...once i get my car back together i have a feeling im going to be doing a lot of shopping around.

Screw the WRXs and the SRTs. Either someone already has one or everyone wants to get one.
For about 16-17k you can get a:
1996-1998 BMW M3 w/ usually 55k-70k miles, Can't get a more fun car
1997-1999 BMW 3series w/ usually 40-50k miles, great for looks
(i-4 door usually,ci-coupe,ic-convertable,ti-crappy hatch)
1998-Up Audi A4 Turbo, 40-50k miles, great little car
1998-Up Audi A6 Quattro 50-60k miles, cool pimp ride
1997-1999 Mercedes SLK230, 45-60k miles, never drove one but look decent
1999-Up Acura CL, 40-60k miles, nice, smooth cars, handle well
And finally,
1998-Up Volvo C70 convertable, 30-50k, nice car, handles and drives well.

Off all of the above mentioned as soon as I sell my P5, its going to be either an older M3 or the C70. I driven all of the above mentioned cars expcept for the Mercedes(My friends buy wrecked cars, fix them, and sell them, I get to test drive them once in a while when they're fixed) and those were the two that stood out. They're nice, you'll definatly get the attention and are fun as anything to drive, especially the M3. Be different man, forget the WRX. Don't get me wrong I think its a great car, there are just better options out there.

My 2000 Trans Am did not come w/the WS6 package. You know what? I didn't mind. 3,000 to add some suspension and a ram air intake that adds 10 hp. yay. The only reason I wanted the WS6 was the hood was so sexy. But WS6's weren't made in the color I wanted (blue/green chameleon). Oh well.

Here's a pic or two.

i really dont give a crap if every one in five people drives a particular car. if i like the car i really dont give a s*** who else has one.

Thats not the point I was trying to make. What I was trying to say is that by limiting yourself with the obvious choices, you'll never know whether the less obvious ones were better.

1997-1999 BMW 3series w/ usually 40-50k miles, great for looks again, not really. lowest milage under 17k i can find is 80 some thousand, and not in that price range.
(i-4 door usually,ci-coupe,ic-convertable,ti-crappy hatch)
1998-Up Audi A4 Turbo, 40-50k miles, great little car your price range is more on the mark this time, but dont care much for the look of the car....looks too bulky.
1998-Up Audi A6 Quattro 50-60k miles, cool pimp ride not my style
1997-1999 Mercedes SLK230, 45-60k miles, never drove one but look decent ugly, friend had one, not impressed, and youre about 6k over my price
1999-Up Acura CL, 40-60k miles, nice, smooth cars, handle well ...eeh...not too impressed witht he looks.
And finally,
1998-Up Volvo C70 convertable, 30-50k, nice car, handles and drives well. good lord, are you serious?

im not trying to knock the cars you like...just our tastes may differ...i notice a lot of the cars you picked have the same basic shape..kinda oversized...which is why you like them all and i like none of them...i do like the bmws but they are too pricey unless you are talking mid 90s with 100k miles or so

is it blue? if so its on every search i find and the net lists at 14995 even though the sticker in the pic has 159...i havent decided if i wnat a wagon yet.
