im going to have to take my car in, and maybe have to take off the nitrous for a day (or hide it :D) my car sometimes will crank and not start. like 2nite, leaving bennigans i shot my nitrous, then stalled when i stopped to turn. it happened again when i got home. maybe my car is getting ****** with the nitrous? i don't know. im going to have to ask anderson to give me my ecu back so i can take the car in and they can run diagnostics. :(

hopefully it wont be a big deal

when we initially tested it, it briefly did a very small backfire and it was hesitating like a b****. it wasnt the plugs fault, as we then swapped back to the old. i'm wondering if its the cold start emissions the P5 ecu runs with. it only stalls when the car is relatively cold (not driven a ton) and is sometimes hard to crank on cold starts. after it warms up its just fine, and i think its the P5 ECUs emissions (VTCS?)

Hmm, I think the best bet is your first idea, get the nitrous TOTALY unistalled and take it to the dealer.

I doubt it s the ECU no one has reported a stalling from the swap.
Although I guess you do need it back to take it to the dealer.

Also if you end up having to go to them ask them to let you know what they fix or tweek my MP3 has the same issue to an extent with stalling.

I hope the nitrous you were using was medical grade. If your engine is phucked, and they suspect Nitrous, they will test your oil fro the sulfur addirive they put in race grade nitrous to keep folks from sniffing it. With medical grade, it is more pure.

was it running way way too rich?

FM got 10 more HP out of my brothers car just by leaning it out, at 6400rpm it would backfire and hesitate, but after they backed off the fuel everything was golden

anderson was a bit busy to contact me when we were suppose to do it, he is going somewhere early this week, im going to call mazda and reschedule appt.
