2015 Mazda Cx5 Touring
Hey guy, I just bought a Cx5 touring last saturday. I'm new to buying cars and no one told me that i could get a bose system in it. It's too late to get it now and from what I see on this site, it's not really great. SO I was wonder whats the best thing I can do to upgrade my sound system, because the factory speakers are crap. It's it's just changing speakers, does anyone know what size speakers they are?

Doors are 6.5", dash ones are 3.5".
Just by replacing these, the sound improves a lot.

Ok, thanks a lot. Is their any speakers that you would recommend? I'm sure different speakers have different depths and some may not fit.

I personally did http://www.crutchfield.com/S-OcH9oxjTweW/p_108R6502IX/Infinity-Reference-X-REF-6502ix.html for the doors and http://www.crutchfield.com/S-F9BvSOp0E9A/p_108R3002CX/Infinity-Reference-X-REF-3002cfx.html for the dash.

I love the difference in sound quality and also fully dynamat extreme layered the outside layer of my doors for better midbass response and to quite down road noise and was quite pleased.

It's not hard at all. The only problem is, that you will have to destroy your factory ones, to be able to install aftermarket ones. So, you will have to leave them in the car, when you will sell it. Or you can buy the factory ones again.
For this reason, I did not go overboard. I have two component sets(front and rear-second set it was free), they are Infinity Primus PR6500cs and in the dash Polk Audio DB351.

I have just finished installing two amps and a subwoofer, so now it sounds even better, but even with the door speakers, the sound it was great.
A little sample:

Did not go crazy with the settings, I could shake the mirrors if I want too.
I have picked up two broken Polk Audio amps from the bay, repaired them and now they are installed under both front seats and they sound great. They run a bit hot, but everything seems fine.
The sub, is a JL Audio 10TW3-D4 shallow 10", placed on a MDF over the spare wheel and strapped down with to straps. Wheel is sealed, where are the mounting holes.
