Yeah After I reset the ECU everything's been fine, the car runs smooth and it doesn't seem like there are any problems, for now.
 
Same here. I reset my ECU today, and took it out for a spin. The car is back to "normal" now, and the hesitation is at least temporarily gone.

Hopefully, we won't have to reset the ECU for much longer... ;)

I am having this exact same problem. Going lean when I hit the gas scares the hell out of me and it is progressivly getting worse. I'll be resetting the ECU today...

Isn't the negative terminal on the battery the same as just grounding to the chassis? It seems tha if you want to cut power, you actually have to disconnect the positive lead...
Discount either terminal will cut power to the car.

I write to mazda and not receive any info about the new ecu reflash to eliminate the hesitation is curious because this thing take all this time to mazda to fixed 1 YEAR

one my car run very hot
two my car loss the fuel curve and 3/4 of the power from 4000- to 5500 rpm in the majority of the time when run during the day
three my car stumble 1/2 of time when shut off the gas pedal
four i need reset the msp ecu 10 time all day and programing the radio 11 times all day because the reset ecu

five i need put rubber in the rear bushigs to repair the rear clunk sound

this is normal of this is a lemon car

this is dangerous or not to the owner security

any have loss the car power when try to pass to a other pork head driver in the road. this is dangerous or not

im sick with this fooking problem

im tried many things
one unorthodox pully alleviate not resolve
two grounding kit not resolve
three cover the intercooler pipe(TURBO TO INTERCOOLER) with heat tape from thermal tec this alleviate and increase the stall and stumble.

four im think install msd dis 2 because in my other mazdas the msd ignition down the a/f ratio


five demand to mazda and claim all my money including the money of the modifications and purchase one subaru sti


im beging to lose my love for my mazdaspeed


the mazda motherfookers not play good because the rear bushing problem in the mp3 is not modified in the msp is the same s*** bushing and the mazda replace three time the bushing to any 1000 owners of the mp3 these people dont think or all the executives of mazda drive bmw or lexus and not work well



IN SUMMARY

TIHIS CAR IS NOT A TURBO CAR IS A LOT OF PROBLEM CAR
im beging to loses my patience


one year to resolve this problem or the problem is really big and cost to much to mazda resolve

the internal not resist and the reflash down the power and all the msp owners demad to mazda for less power

the plastic pipes are coming too hot and the intercooler too small
to cooling the incoming air and the a/f is too rich because the hot air

the fuel map is one big s*** and cost too much replace 2500 ecu,s

one sensor feel the car too hot and cut the power or change the ignition timming too much

the mazda people try to eliminate the torque steer and shut the power in the best part of the rpms

callaway the producer of this big s*** turbo kit not sound or explained the mazda or callaway fail

im think is time to group all the msp owners and beging to presure mazda

I reset it friday night but I did not go anywhere yesterday! I will probably take her for a spin today.
