Alright guys wondering if anyone here can shed some light. Since i've bought my speed 6 about a year ago i've noticed it's always pulled to the right slightly. The dealer has been good and done alignments covered by warranty and it seemed to help a little bit for a while. Well now im at the point where the car pulls HARD to the right. If i let go of the steering wheel it turns itself to the right. I can pretty much switch lanes by just letting go of the steering. My brother is a mechanic for a Nissan dealer and he did an alignment and found that everything was in spec. and no need for adjustment. The only thing that was off was the Front Drivers side caster. The specified range is anywhere between 2.9 and 4.9. The drivers side is at 5.2 and the passenger side is at 4.2. Well my brother says that this is causing the car to pull to the right and that theres no adjustment for caster. He says that either something is bent or loose or F'ed up. So what do you guys suggest i do? My brand new tires are already chopping because of this and i dont want to have a car for the next few years with a screwed up suspension.

There's a TSB for this and it includes offset upper control arms for caster change. Your dealer is ignorant... Here is the TSB #

Mines does it too....I've personally aligned it 3 times and won't let the Dealer touch it. Still has a very slight drift, but I deal with it. Cool to know there is a TSB....

on a related note, my protege does this same thing, never did figure out what it was and didn't want to put any money into it so didn't care much about finding out. I wonder if this was a trend in proteges too.
