Solenoid for what exactly. The turbo in its stock form has no controller, it is just a dumb mechanical gate.

The two Vac Gates on top of the intake mani (Green and White Plugs) control the two sets of flaps in the manifold.

I don't see how you could have a bad solenoid of any kind on our cars that would make your turbo seals go bad. Are you buying used turbos when you replace them?
