Anyone live on Cape Cod or come down to visit? It's a great spot for a meet come spring time.

we had a trip there last summer, was a really good time, and we would have done it again in the fall but we were all so busy.

after rev-it-up we cruised down to the cape, stayed at some motel right on the canal and then spent the next day cruising around on our way out to p-town. had some rx8s with us. I cant wait to do it again (we dont do much during the winter). As far as i know we dont have any members who live out there though....

I'm up for it. Making it a beach meet will give everyone something to do besides check out each others cars and climb on buildings. We might even be able to park sideways.

Now that's just crazy talk.

hey, there was a football game you could have joined in on at any time.....until we got kicked off the field by the green lantern that is

very true was a football game, im down for a cape cod trip my friend has a place down there his parents rent out. Maybe i can set up a safe house for us

I'll try not to be all blazed this time too so I can hold a conversation with you all.

btw, last time what we did was take the north bridge over the canal (6 i think) then took whatever road that is off the first exit on the cape and went south along the canal and continued south along 28 into falmouth. then all the way out to chatham before we went up and hooked up with 6.

Then somewhere before welfleet we took some random back road to the right which was PERFECT virgin pavement that had mad twisties and dips and bends and everything and led us to a small beach with some cliffs where we hung out for a bit.

Then it was back onto 6 out to the very tip and followed 6 around through downtown p-town eventually parking by the pier and eating in some awful restaurant we will not be going back to for fear of catching gay.

It was a nice route I think. I have driven 6a all the way out before and theres a lot more stop signs, places for a larger group to get lost, not so nice pavement (an issue for me really, other members wouldnt mind it) and there werent any views or anything like i was expecting since its a scenic route.

Along the south it was nice because there were some stretches of open road where we coudl cruise, and some areas packed with tourist people on the streets who stared at our cars as we sat in some traffic going through the towns. On top of that 28 is easy to follow, lots of big parking lots along it to regroup in and the pavement is pretty not to mention theres places to stop along there if we wanted to to do something like pirates cove (yaaar matey). several times on the way out we had cops follow us from border to border in their town but it was no biggie since we werent doing anything wrong.

Only thing that I think could have been better is if we had planned out places to stop. whether for good photo ops, good eats, views, or an activity like mini golf or something, we will have to get that part of the trip a little more planned out this time.

I would like a little more planning for food and what not also. This time I will probably spend some time down at the cape when it is all said and done if my GF comes with.

Unfortunately the police did not seem to like us down there.

when we get to p-town i am not eating at that awful establishment again. I will be eating at the rooftop hot dog joint that overlooks the pier. hopefully altspace will be able to direct us towards the local hotspot for good cheap seafood on the way out there too....like bobs clam hut.....drooooooooool...
