Can't throw 1st to 2nd fast... (no bang)

Which upgraded motor mounts should i get i think ive decided on CPE but should i get just rear?..or front and rear?? and will this void my warranty?? Thanks for the info its been very helpful.

ok i didnt adjust it but i played with the shifter like he was doing in the video to see if the shifter wouldnt go into any gears like that and the first couple times it wouldnt go into 2nd or 5th or 6th. but after doing that 3 times or so it went into every gear 1st-6th fine after that with no hesitation or sticking. it seems to have fixed it by just playing with it a little.. does this sound possible?

I like the SU version, but the CPE should be fine. For basically "normal" street use only, you could stay with the dog bone only to help out with the shifting issues.

I can't see where an "OEM" replacement rear motor mount could affect warrranty at all, unless it broke or the install was botched some how and the motor rotated over in the engine bay. Not likely.....

i do driving "spirited" sometimes but not frequently, (i bought a MS6 for a reason) so given that you think front and rear mounts would be better? why?.. sorry for all the questions im kinda new to modding/upgrading cars and what is best for what and why. and im trying to learn.

The rear differential mounts are a known weak point if the car is subjected to "rev-it-up and drop-the-clutch" type starts. WOT running a low speeds on ice/snow can also result in shock loads enough to break the rear diff rear mount. The rear diff front mount attachment points failed on a few cars as well. SU and CPE both have a steel rear diff upper mount . Turbine Tech (Canada) offers a replacement rear diff front mount and an add-on front engine mount (results in 4 mounts rather than 3). If you think you will be wanting to launch the car in this way, I recommend the rear diff upper mount along with either the TT front (add-on) engine mount OR the AWR OEM replacement mounts for the left and right engine mounts.

If you search this forum and the maz*a6clu* forum for rear diff, you should find lots of additional info to read. The Speed6 is a great car! Happy modding!
