Can't stop....need brakes

Hi folks. It's time for me to get some new front brake pads. I'm planning a full brake upgrade within the next year, but unfortunately I still need something to stop with until then.

So what are people using for drop-in replacement pads to go with the factory ABS brake system? I'd like something a little more aggressive than stock, but nothing crazy...this is just to get me through for awhile. Any ideas?

EBC green stuff... PM turfburn, and he can hook you up. I was in the same position as you, they are great replacements, much more bite and power than the stockers, and for less money. get em!

I used Satisfieds from www.tirerack.com. Same performance as stock, maybe a little better "feel" (but bear in mind I went from wore-out OE's to new Satisfieds). Less dust. Good purchase. Retraction springs suck, but aren't too bad. Job was easy - there are many write-ups on it. Replacing rotors is a no-brainer, its also easy to remove the rotors, mask, and paint the centers to prevent/repair rust (or change your "look").

I just purchased a full brake setup from TurfBurn: EBC greenstuff pads front/rear, EBC blank rotors front/read, and Russell stainless lines. I can't wait to get them installed.

I also bought ATE superblue brake fluid and redline tranny fluid from www.turnermotorsports.com. Figured I might as well do the tranny fluid while I'm at it, since 40k miles is coming up and I'm sure the fluid is overdue.

any of the pads offer by our vendors and some go with a certian type of 626 pads up front and RX-7 pads in rear ... and as far as a brake upgrade just order drilled and slotted rotors and have then cryo'ed and buy SS brakelines and clutch line and really nice pads and be happy!!! of course, from one of our vendors that is!!!

I heard about the 626 pads up front, but had no idea about rx-7's in the rear.. do you know which 626 and RX-7 version pads we need..

I'm upgrading my pads this winter, so that I stop on a dime this auto-x season

I want to buy Carbotech Bobcats, they seem to be the best for auto-x and daily
