Can't set assistant volume anymore (CX-5 Android Auto)

I'm using Android Auto and suddenly when I turn the volume knob when the assistant is responding, it only changes the navigation volume. Is this a bug?

Yeah but this happened all of a sudden. Just a couple of months ago, assistant volume & nav volume were separated.

You should be able to go into the Infotainment Settings and adjust the volume for the assistant. There are two ways to adjust the volume, should be anyway.

Not 100% sure about this, but worth a try... just adjust the volume on your phone while using the assistant. That should work, and is probably easiest.

Ok, so I finally managed to adjust assistant volume by immediately turning the volume knob after activating it. You have to catch it quickly! Poor UX.

Did you see post #4 above? There's more than one way to adjust the volume of the assistant.
