I'm installing the TWM Polyurethane Shift Rod Bushings and can't remove the old rubber bushing. I've tried using the the mounting stud as a perch to push it against but it's barely moving and isn't getting close to coming out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had my speed at the dealer for a new LF Wheel Bearing (B455-33-047D)so I had them put new Shifter Bushings (B001-46-062) and Bolt (GA2A-46-133) in at the same time.

$120.00 for the bushing install and $50.00 for the LF Wheel Bearing (warranty deductible).

83,000 miles and it's the first time for both. (first)

Just pull it out.
Spraying some WD40 on it helps ....A LOT.
Spray around the edge inside the metal loop its in....It is a one piece bushing...and its a PITA to get out.
A screwdriver to pry one edge in to get it started will likely help you out a lot as well.

And seriously....What did this post have to do with his question for help?

Maybe I missed it....but I dont think so....I think you were typing to see yourself type.

Screwdriver and WD-40 is what i used to get my stock bushing out

Busted a few knuckles open in the process but it eventually comes out

Thanks for the help. It felt like I might break something but I just kept pushing with a screwdriver and it eventually came out. Couldn't find any WD40 so it was a real PITA.
