It's all hype. Not all of us are upset. Actually, most of the people I've talked to think it's funny. I think people just can't take a joke anymore. It's media hype and it will disappear in a week just like everything else. ... I don't know if you get "This Hour has 22 Minutes" or "Royal Canadian Air Farce" in the US, but those two satires go way beyond what Conan did (and they're hilarious as hell too!!)

Edit: for those not up to speed, when Conan filmed in Toronto they did some funny stuff on Quebec separatists that was the subject of heated discussion in our parliament and has been all over the papers for the last week.

What'd Conan do??? I saw that show but only the segment with Jim Carey. Then I fell asleep.
The "Canadians" who were upset at Conan would also be upset at being called "Canadian".
The separtists in Quebec would rather be called "Quebecois".
Probably the same people who were offended by Don Cherry's comments, but i'm sure only the Canadian board members know who Don Cherry is.

This is unfortunately the way of things in Qubec....where the average ''Jean'' is a lowly welfare pensioner and has nothing to do all day but to b**** about anyone who has a bone against Qubec and Qubecers in general... I agree, some people are just way to easily offeneded, what Cherry said was in no way descriminant, it was the ******* truth, didn't see the Conan show, but hear it was funny as hell, he probably told the truth with a twist of humour, so he's getting it for that. I'm ******* sick and tired of hearing tha damn French Canadians offended by everything, so, hey, seperate, **** off and leave the rest of us the **** alone, take the prime minister too, we'll get one that isn't a scammer.
