Canadian gas usage

Could any one care to share after how many miles or kilometer you have seen an increase in fuel economy? I just want to know if my mileage will increase or not. Any help?

I got my cx5 in August and averaged about 8L/100 km with mostly suburban driving. I now have 6000 km and so far have averaged 8.3 L/100 km. I believe part of the increase in consumption is due to gas stations switching to winter blend and the engine taking longer to warm up in the morning due to colder mornings.

Worst tank range so far was 490KM with a full tank after fill up (mainly short low speed suburb driving)
Best tank was 630KM, calculated to over 670KM once i got onto the highway

Only had the car for a month now and have a little over 700kms on it. Not really impressed with fuel economy I'm getting. I have the GT-AWD. Now reading 10.1 and 'B' reading is 10.2. Haven't reset B since taking possession. I just registered my first fill up last week on fuelly so ill track it there too over the next few months.
I can't drive it any gentler than I have either. I'm hoping it improves once it is 'broken in'. (unamused)

Im from MTL with the Mazda cx5 GS FWD, this summer it was 8.6 -8.7 95% city and now with the cold it's like 9.5 95% city..

Little disappointing i bough the car because it was suppose to be 8 - 8.5 in city...

Also lot of rattle and a weird sound coming from the motor.

I've put in 3200km in 3 weeks, going half n half in city/highway, computer says 9.5L/100km, but I calculate it to be around 11L/100km.

Its the colder weather. It will get better next summer when gas goes back up. That's the way of things. I want to block the rad. Plastic or cardboard. Winter front if you will. Still trying to figure out how I can do that with this car. Lol. It will help the engine stay hot.
