ive been searching to see if i can do something to my hood. i live in socal and the sun totally ruined my hood. apparently i didnt wax enough. its super hazy. i heard someone talk about getting some type of epoxy from a boat shop and applying fresh epoxy. anyone know?
get a local body shop to sand it and clear it, just get a few lays, then 3 months later, buff and wax (don't buff and wax [or even wax] new clear for 3 months at least)
sure i did. i found people who put a clear coat on when it was new to keep it new, but no one who had a hazy cf hood. why dont you just send me the link then....it would be appreciated
As long as there is nothing going through the top coat that goes all the way to the material, they can just scuff it up with like 1500grit sandpaper and shoot a couple layers of clear. Would look shinny as hell for quite some time.
